Harvest Festival 2018

Servies and Shared Lunch

During our services at 9 am (traditional with communion) and 10.30 am Family Service we will be supporting the Harlow Food bank.

Any non perishable gifts will be most welcome and will be given to the Harlow Food Bank.  Tins of fruit, vegetables, soup, meat, puddings or packets of pasta, soup or bottles of sauses all very welcome.  At the moment Food Banks are struggling to meet demand and therefore there will be a shopping bag in church every Sunday for everyone who would like to help dontate a tin or packet of food to help someone who has fallen in hard times and is struggling to feed their family.

In addition, we will be supporting a charity called 'Send a Cow' whereby:

£150 will provide sees, tools and training for five families in Africa with everything they need to start growing nutritious vegetables to eat

£300 will help 10 families grown their way out of poverty

We are inviting the younger members of our congregation to come to church dressed as a cow or wearing a cow mask.  After the family service there will be a shared lunch and various activities for the youngre folk - on a cow theme naturally.  We do hope you will be able to join us.
